Water Storage Containers
Water storage containers come in many different shapes and sizes. Obviously, they are used to store water or other liquids. Small water storage containers store about 10-20 liters of water. There are some very small containers that hold 1-2 liters. They often have pretty patterns or pictures on them. Guests will be impressed when they see your water container on display. Some of these water containers also have inbuilt filters to get rid of the chemical (chlorine) taste in the water. You can also store cordial or fruit juices in these containers. There are also larger water storage systems available. The large water storage containers are called water tanks. They generally store water for human consumption, although some farmers use them to hold water which they use on their crops. There are 2 main types of water tanks- ground water tanks and elevated water tanks. Water tanks are designed to stop bacteria, viruses and algae from getting into the water. They also stop accumulation of minerals and changes in pH. Water tanks are made from plastic, fiberglass, concrete, stone or steel.
